 The FIRST Shiba to ever earn an
AKC title
VERY VERY BIG BRAG - June 1992 - CJ (SCAT/SKC CH
Minimeadows Kracker Jak AKC-CD) was one of the first Shibas in south east
Texas. Before the breed went AKC, he had earned at least two
Championships. When the breed went into the AKC Misc Class in the summer
of 1992, CJ was the very first Shiba in the history of the breed to earn an AKC
title. In three shows, in three days in Arizona, CJ earned the three legs
needed for his CD.
We lost CJ on March 28, 2002. I don't think I have ever
met a Shiba with such dignity or sweetness. He may be gone, but he will
never be forgotten.
